This course will provide basic information on set up and maintenance of a sterile field, commonly-used types of anesthesia, universal precautions, and pre- and post-operative considerations. Procedures covered will include chalazion, removal of a foreign body, lesion removal, dilation and irrigation of nasolacrimal duct, insertion and removal of punctum plugs, and treatment of entropion.
