- Quotation Marks
- Search for complete phrases by enclosing them in quotation marks. Words enclosed in quotes will appear together in all results exactly as typed: i.e., "Anterior Chamber Angle". This is very helpful in narrowing your search results.
- There are two types of wildcards that you can include in your search:
- Multiple character wildcard, identified with an asterisk (*)
- Can be used before, after, or in the middle of a word, returning any number of letters or words. Example: Agree* = Agreement; agreeable, etc.
- Single character wildcard, identified with a question mark (?)
- Example: ?ord could return cord, word or any four letter word ending in "ord".
