This course will explain how to better screen for poor refractive surgery candidates. It will also describe the psychological complexity of refractive surgery patients, and how to effectively manage disgruntled surgery patients.

Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to:

  • Describe how the keratometer works.
  • List the indications and uses of the keratometer.
  • Briefly compare the basic types of keratometers.
  • List the step-by-step approach in taking accurate 'K' readings.
  • Outline the interpretation of 'K' readings.

  Failed Courses
