This course provides an overview of the AREDS-2 trial protocol, which indulges the omega-3 fatty acids and Lutein/Zeaxanthin. The course will discuss the role of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in dry eye syndrome. The research finds on safety and efficacy of select fatty acids in dry eye syndrome will also be discussed.
